Beijing Artists Management Corp., Ltd. (BJAMC)

Established in 1958, Beijing Artists Management Corp., Ltd. (BJAMC) used to be a public institution directly under Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture. At present, BJAMC is the core enterprise of BSAM in cultural and sports industries. BJAMC also serves as executive director of China Association of Performing Arts, general director of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Performing Arts Alliance, and vice president of Beijing Trade Association for Performances.

Since its restructuring into an enterprise in 2006, by unleashing its professional planning, production and execution capabilities, BJAMC has won many honors, such as Excellent Organization Award for City Olympic Cultural Activities of “Beijing 2008”, Outstanding Contribution Award for the Gala for the 60th National Day in 2009, Positive Contribution Award for the APEC Summit Beijing 2014, Outstanding Contribution Award for the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation 2017, Outstanding Contribution Award for Asian Civilization Parade in Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations 2019, Positive Contribution Award for Music and Dance Epic Forge ahead, Chinese People in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China in 2019, etc.

In recent years, BJAMC has been passionately engaged in public culture, branded performance, drama production, theater operation and other fields. More than 600 shows have been presented every year. BJAMC ever participated in major national art performances many times, such as National Excellent Works of Stage Art in the New Era, Excellent Works of Stage Art in Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, and the 9th China Peking Opera Art Festival. Beijing New Year’s Concert has been held for 27 consecutive years, becoming a classical brand of Chinese New Year performance. In 2017, BJAMC initiated “Lao She International Theater Festival”, which has thrived for six years and become a key brand of “Drama Carnival in Beijing” Season. BJAMC has invested and operated a series of branded projects, such as Art Week of “Dancing for the People”, Music Support Program of “World Music: The X” and the Mid-Autumn Festival Performance. BJAMC has produced a dozen original stage works, such as Mr. Ma & Son, Lonely Warmth, Lao She Works in Improvisation and Monsters in the Forbidden City. The drama Yun He 1935 was selected into the list of “100 Outstanding Works in Tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China”. BJAMC participates in renovation, reconstruction and operation of Jixiang Theater. In the future, BJAMC will further devote to the main business of performing arts, work hard for three major business lines (large-scale cultural activities, independent brand development and performing arts space operation), emerge as a municipal-level leading, domestically first-class and internationally well-known performing arts conglomerate, strive to build into a performing arts hub, and contribute to developing Beijing into a national-level cultural center.
